Even the unwanted ‘boomy’ resonance commonly found around the 5th fret on too many ‘high end’ basses has been avoided thanks to the balance of each string being accurate and defined.
Every Gloxy series bass is equipped with a premium Markbass instrument preamp. This preamp is designed from the ground up by Markbass to faithfully reproduce the sound of your instrument. Changes in the volume level when switching from Active to Passive and back again are almost imperceptible - a unique feature of the exceptional circuitry inside this preamp. Simple & ergonomic controls allow you to strongly boost or cut your EQ without clipping or distorting the signal - even at maximum settings - allowing your Markbass preamp to work with you in any environment
After completion, each Gloxy bass is inspected at Markbass’ headquarters in Italy to ensure that it meets our strict quality requirements.
Every Gloxy series bass ships in a premium gig bag, also made to Markbass’ uncompromising quality standards, ensuring your bass remains in top condition and gig ready at all times.

The bass neck has the same characteristics as our JP series of instruments - inherent playability, and comfort. The balance of each string is accurate and defined, without any 'boomy' resonant frequencies even across the fifth string's range. Each instrument is
inspected for quality against our strict requirements at our headquarters in Italy. Gloxy series bass guitars receive the same standard of care and attention as our higher end instruments.
