We make every effort to ensure that the products on our website are accurately listed, but due to the nature of our business and suppliers, prices and availability may change without notice.

  • Pricing: All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and Services Tax), as required by Australian law.

  • Stock Availability: We do our best to keep our website up to date with current stock levels. However, some items may be out of stock or discontinued. If this happens after you’ve placed an order, we’ll contact you as quickly as possible to offer a solution — whether that’s a backorder, replacement, or refund.


3. Placing an Order

When you place an order with us, it’s an offer to purchase the product(s) subject to these Terms and Conditions. Your order will only be confirmed when you receive an Order Confirmation email from us.

If we are unable to process or fulfill your order, we will inform you and, if necessary, refund any payments made.


4. Payment

We accept a variety of payment methods, including:

  • Credit & Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)

  • PayPal

  • ZipPay/ZipMoney

Payment will be processed at the time of purchase. Your order will not be dispatched until payment has been confirmed.


5. Shipping & Delivery

We offer fast, reliable shipping across Australia. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location and the size of your order.

  • Processing Time: We aim to process and ship orders within 2-3 business days. Please allow additional time for custom or out-of-stock items. Some items ship direct from our supplier & may take a little longer for dispatch. 

  • Delivery Times: Estimated delivery times depend on your location and the shipping method chosen. These will be provided at checkout.

  • Shipping Issues: While we do our best to ensure smooth delivery, Music Specialists is not responsible for delays or damages caused by the shipping carrier.


6. Australian Consumer Law & Your Rights

We comply with Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and offer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the law. These include guarantees that products:

  • Are of acceptable quality

  • Are fit for their intended purpose

  • Match the description or sample shown

  • Are free from defects when delivered

If you receive a product that does not meet these guarantees, please contact us within a reasonable time, and we’ll work to resolve the issue — whether that’s a repair, replacement, or refund.


7. Returns & Exchanges

If your item develops a fault and it's covered by warranty, you're entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund — depending on the situation and includes the following:

The item:

  • Is faulty

  • Differs significantly from what was advertised

  • Doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do

In line with Australian Consumer Law, we offer refunds or exchanges for faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied goods.

  • Change of Mind: We do not offer refunds or exchange for change of mind.

  • Non-returnable Items: Due to hygiene and copyright regulations, some products such as headphones, strings, and sheet music are non-returnable.

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information, including your contact details and shipping address.

  • Safely use the products purchased in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

In no event will our liability exceed the purchase price of the product in question.
